Garbage and Recycling Services

The City of Van Horne contracts Garbage and Recycling Services thru EZ Trash Solutions of Brandon Iowa. Garbage and Recycling carts are provided. Garbage is picked up weekly on Friday mornings, and Recycling is picked up every other Friday morning. Usually in the Spring we host a "Clean Up" day and large bulky items can be taken to dumpsters at the City Shed. Please watch for notices regarding. Also if you have a large bulky item at any time, you can contact Dawn or Bill at 319-521-6978 to schedule a special pickup.
